"Kennel Wavelet continues the legacy of Slnečný Lúč Griffon kennel founded in 2002."

• Welcome! We warmly invite you to visit our website dedicated to the breeding of Brussels Griffons and Petit Brabançons.

• My name is Viktória Debnárová, and I am the owner of the FCI-registered kennel Wavelet. My primary focus is breeding Spanish Water Dogs; however, Griffons hold a special place in my heart and are an integral part of our family.

• I have continued the successful breeding tradition of my beloved mother, Ing. Lucia Kyseľová, who bred these wonderful dogs under the kennel name Slnečný Lúč from 2002 until her passing in 2026.

• In 1994, we acquired our first pedigree dog, a Shar-Pei, which opened the door to the world of dog breeding and dog shows for our family. As the years passed, it was not long before a new companion joined our Shar-Pei: a female Petit Brabançon named Bronx Malý Baskerville (Rebecca) from the Czech Republic. She became the foundation of the kennel Slnečný Lúč.

• She was followed by Athina Bohunícky ďáblik, a black, rough-coated Belgian Griffon, and then by Dorka (Daginny-Bruxell ze Sídlberku), a red, rough-coated Brussels Griffon, who became the third Griffon in our family.

• My mother also ran the successful Anubis grooming salon in Zvolen. Her love for dogs and animals was a lifelong passion. Under the kennel name Slnečný Lúč, more than 20 litters were bred, producing several champions.

• My own journey into the world of dog shows began in 2008, when I started regularly competing in Junior Handling, a competition for young dog handlers. Among my achievements with the Griffons were being named Best Junior Handler in the first age category in Slovakia in 2011 and, in 2012, becoming the overall winner of Junior Handling in Slovakia. This achievement earned me the honour of representing Slovakia at the 2013 World Dog Show in Budapest.

• Today, under the kennel name Wavelet, we are committed to further improving the quality of Brussels Griffon and Petit Brabançon breeding in Slovakia. Our priorities are temperament, health and the distinctive breed type that makes these little dogs so special.
